President - Jannice Tu

​Jannice is a Marketing major at San Jose State University, an honors student of the Gary J. Sbona Honors program, an a Thompson Global intern for the Summer of 2013. She is heavily involved in school activities and seeks to better her community by connecting brilliant ideas to the places that need them.

 

She is learning programming, webdesign, and web development on the side and has many other "random" interests as well including painting, singing, graphic novels, martial arts, video games, reading fantasy epics and, of course, traveling. She has been to China, Vietnam, France, Holland, Italy and England and hopes to tackle South America and East Asia next. True to her roots in Silicon Valley, Jannice hopes to leave her mark on this world by being an ambitious, knowledgeable  inspiring, and globally minded leader creating solutions to problems that will progress society. After college, she hopes to pursue an MBA in management.

Vice President - Jady Long

Jady Long is a junior at San Jose State University majoring in International Business with a Finance emphasis. She was born in Guangzhou, China, and she moved to San Francisco when she was 12 years old. The multicultural environment in the Bay Area and her unique cultural background inspired her to become a well-rounded global citizen. She enjoys helping others, trying new things, meeting new friends, traveling, reading, and playing badminton.

 

She is also working on campus as a counter clerk at the A.S. (Associated Students) Print Shop, and as a Director of Alliances at a non-profit organization called SVCWireless in the Silicon Valley. Jady hopes to use the skills she has acquired throughout her college experience to become a problem solver. Therefore, she can overcome any challenge in her future career or further guaduate studies.

VP of Communications - Emmy Gomez

Emeralda "Emmy" Gómez is an International Business major and Spanish language minor at San Jose State University. Starting with a childhood dream to travel, Emmy has had the opportunity to explore Western Europe and Northern Africa with a life changing study abroad experience in Spain for her junior year.  She currently holds a volunteer position as Director of Online Marketing at SVCWireless where she's had the opportunity to interact with many of Silicon Valley's finest entrepreneurs.

 

She is very passionate about worldwide current events and how they play into the globalized market as well as in society. Other interests besides travel include a general appreciation for the performing arts, cooking, reading poetry, watching films (both foreign and domestic) that either make her "think" or "laugh." Ultimately, she plans to transition from international business to diplomacy with a master's in international relations.

Paolo Listana is a senior at San Jose State University. He is currently pursuing an International Business major and Global Leadership and Innovation minor. He is born and raised in the Philippines and moved here in California eight years ago. So far he is enjoying life here in America, especially being a college student. Paolo is heavily involved in school.

 

He is a member of Akbayan Filipino Organization, a Student Supervisor at SJSU's Dining Commons, and a proud brother of Alpha Kappa Omega Fraternity. In his free time, Paolo loves to play basketball, discover new food spots, and hang out with friends. After college, he hopes to land a management position with a start-up company, and take it to the next level!
